Andrew F. Whitman, JD

Biography. Since May 2009, Andrew has worked for Risk International helping Fortune 1000 companies manage complex risk management programs.

After working for RI as a summer intern in 2009, Andrew was retained as Risk Analyst. In December 2011 he was transferred to the Company’s office in Charlotte, NC to serve on the Goodrich Corporation global risk management team. In addition, Andrew supports the Aleris, Pinova, Renessenz, and Pemco client service teams and coordinates RI’s website, marketing, social media, and public relations efforts. He is a co-author, with RI’s Doug Talley, on three articles regarding insurance archaeology and policy reconstruction.

Andrew attended Brigham Young University for one year before leaving on two-year full-time mission to Paris, France. Andrew graduated from BYU in 2008 with a B.A. in History and from the University of Akron School of Law in 2012 with a Juris Doctor. He is also pursuing an MBA from the University of Akron, College of Business Administration, with plans to graduate in May 2013.

Andrew is a past-President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society (JRCLS) and Past-Student Director on the Akron Law Alumni Board. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of Phi Alpha Theta and Sigma Iota Epsilon honor’s societies for his scholastic achievements in History and Business respectively.
