Clifford S. Perkins
Biography. Clifford Perkins joined the Risk International group in 2010 as a Director. Prior to that Clifford had been a co-consultant to a client of Risk International since 2005 and as a director of his own consultancy company.
Clifford is a trained accountant, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and a Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Clifford trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers and following completion of his studies moved to Procter & Gamble in the UK where he held the position of Head of Taxation and Insurance for the UK operations. His career developed in the areas of International Financial management with senior management roles at Marks & Spencer PLC (Retailing), JP Morgan (Banking), the (former) Rank Organization PLC (Leisure and Entertainment), Royal Sun Alliance (Insurance) and latterly with Elementis PLC (Specialty Chemical manufacturing).
Clifford’s expertise is in areas of International Financial management, Treasury and Taxation with a focus on supply chain, financial risk management and International finance. His experience includes having managed numerous corporate finance transactions and reorganizations and in developing and implementing strategic and operational solutions across a broad spectrum of corporate activity.
In the specific risk management areas of activity, Clifford has significant experience in broker and underwriting negotiations, in claims negotiation and in risk analysis related to supply chain and the dynamics of financial interdependence. Clifford’s skills are truly International with experience and expertise in North America, Europe and Asia across various business sectors and covering a range of financial functions as both a consultant and in line management.
