Jo-Ellen Burke

Biography. While at BFGoodrich: Administered auto and truck fleet claims and all claims related to their tire center property and casualty. She also traveled throughout the world resolving complex chemical, business interruption, and property damage claims.

While at Risk International: Supervised and trained a team of property and casualty claims administrators.

Today Jo-Ellen continues her supervisory responsibilities. She also works with in-house and outside council to coordinate and resolve complex large claims. In that roles she recommends and updates reserves, maintains all record systems, facilitates and coordinates tender and reimbursement s across defendants, and project manages the resolution process.

She is passionate about:

• Developing and maintaining documentation perfection that my clients can depend on. She loves to be able to provide the right information, at the right time, to the right people.
• Seeing things through the eyes of her clients and working as a team member with clients and counsel to help resolve challenges quickly and effectively.

Jo-Ellen is currently the Past President of the Akron Claims Association, also serving for four years as their Treasurer. She is a member of KNOW (Knowledgeable Network of Women) in the Akron area.
