Kathy A. Kukor, CRM

Biography. Kathy joined Risk International in early 2003 serving in the role of Senior Manager - Workers’ Compensation, dedicated to our largest client, an international manufacturing organization. Her engagement objective was to achieve maximum cost reduction opportunities through a full range of employment practices consulting and claims management. Within two years, our client had experienced substantial results and the client’s new program was nominated for two prestigious industry awards (Arthur Quern Quality Award at the 2005 RIMS Conference and the Best Workers’ Compensation and Disability Management Program of the Year at the 2004 National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference).

Kathy’s responsibilities have since been broadened to include service to all Risk International clients. Kathy came to Risk International with 27 years claims experience in all coverage lines, with her most recent assignments focused on cost containment in the employment practices areas and in workers’ compensation and liability claims management. Kathy has consulted with numerous Fortune 500 companies utilizing various cost reduction strategies to achieve significant annual savings. She has trained thousands of employees and business leaders in various processes and strategies that have brought about consistent savings to her clients.

Kathy is active in the national and local chapters of the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS). She has successfully completed professional coursework in Claims Techniques, Office Ergonomics, and Behavior-Based Safety, and was a featured speaker at the 2004 Annual Integrated Benefits Institute Conference and the 2005 Annual RIMS Conference. She has earned the designation of Certified Risk Manager (CRM). Kathy has worked in all aspects of the risk management industry, including a large third party claims administrator, international broker, insurance carrier and large manufacturing and retail organizations. Kathy also serves as the president of her community Homeowners Association.
