Mark A. Taylor, MS, CPCU, ARM, CSP, CBCP, OHST

Biography. Mark is a risk management and safety professional with over ten years experience in corporate risk management and risk management consulting. He has developed highly successful risk management programs and initiatives and has mentored many clients to do the same. Additionally, he has developed tools and resources to automate data analysis and reporting thereby creating additional time for loss prevention and mitigation activities. Mark joined Risk International Services in 2004 where he currently assists clients on a variety of risk management issues, including workers’ compensation, loss control and business continuity planning.

Mark began his career in the insurance industry with Liberty Mutual delivering risk management consulting services to a wide array of customer and industry types. He later served in the Corporate Risk Management department of Royal & SunAlliance where he had responsibilities for program development and management, employee safety and health, business continuity, and corporate security. He has applied his skills in many industries including; manufacturing, transportation, retail, property management, and construction.

Mark has earned the distinctions of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), and Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST). He participates in the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the Contingency Planning Association of the Carolinas (CPAC).
