Matthew S. Perkins, MAcc, CPA

Biography. Matt joined Risk International after working as a senior accountant at Ernst & Young. While with EY in Pittsburgh, Matt served as a member of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) implementation audit team at a multi-billion dollar medical center. He also audited a multi-national steel tubing company, serving as the lead audit team member in two U.S. locations. Matt helped lead the first year audit of a 4 billion dollar client as the lead senior accountant, heading up the controls audit and overseeing three 10-Q quarterly reviews along with Sarbanes-Oxley related test procedures.

Matt works with clients on claims allocations, accounting matters, deductibles, limits and handles all of Risk International’s administrative duties.

While in school Matt worked for Kamdar & Company handling accounting, reporting, and tax issues for many clients throughout the country.

Matt was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, is an Eagle Scout and member of both the AICPA and The Ohio Society of CPAs.
