Randall D. Davis, MBA, IBD, CPCU, ARM, ARM-E, ABCP
Biography. Randall joined Risk International in 2002 and currently oversees its risk management practice. Randall specializes in risk strategy, insurance program optimization, quantitative modeling, competitive and organizational dynamics, business continuity planning, and enterprise risk management (ERM). Since joining Risk International, Randall has consistently delivered proven value to clients, measured by an average Return on Investment of over 1200%.
Prior to joining Risk International, Randall advised Fortune 100 clients in the global aerospace, defense, and chemical industries, both with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Washington consulting practice as a strategy consultant, and as a freelance management consultant. Internationally, he has advised a variety of multinational enterprises on a myriad of international business and risk issues, the Government of Italy (Ministry of Finance) on its unified government procurement program, lived and worked as a volunteer for two years in India, and has traveled extensively. He is also experienced in the computer software industry where he was Director of Quality Assurance for a leading IT-training software manufacturer.
Randall is an honors graduate from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with an MBA, as well as an honors graduate in International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service. Randall also graduated with honors from Brigham Young University with a BA in International Relations and International Business.
Randall is a member of RIMS, PRMIA, and Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. He is a professionally certified risk manager, holding the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and the Associate in Risk Management – Enterprise Risk Management (ARM-E) designations from The American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters and The Institutes. He is also a certified business continuity planner, holding the Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) designation from DRI International. He is a member of Net Impact, a network of business leaders committed to using the power of business responsibly to create a better world.
Randall is a proud supporter of The Boy Scouts of America, is an Eagle Scout, and served his local troop as a Den Leader and as a member of the Scout Committee. For other non-profits, Randall serves as a Board Member on the University of Akron’s Finance Advisory Board, and teaches Risk Management in the Department of Finance at the University of Akron. Randall is also an accomplished professional vocalist, performing in Akron’s Summit Choral Society, both as a featured soloist and as a member of the Masterworks Choral and the Chamber Singers.
